I decided to go into teaching shortly after starting college at the University of Minnesota. At the time I wanted to help make a difference and help kids reach their full potential, despite any problems or setbacks they may have encountered in their lives. I also wanted to give back to the schools in my community, a way to say thank you to all of the teachers that have helped me on my path to discovering myself. My reasons for wanting to teach are still the same today and have become even stronger as I continue to learn and grow at the University of Minnesota. In this site you will find examples of my commitment to teaching and will learn more about me as a student, future teacher, and person. Have fun!
